The stand is not included in the package. The thickness planer’s three knife cutter head extends knife life by 30% and makes knife changing faster and easier. The wood planer’s two-speed gear box allows customers to adjust feed speed to optimize cuts per inch at 96 or 179 CPI.
Chips are vacuumed from the cutter head and expelled from the machine using fan-assisted chip ejection.
A cast aluminum base with a diameter of 19-3/4 inches is twice as rigid as a normal 10-inch base, making it ideal for folding tables. Automatic carriage lock eliminates snipe-causing movement without the need for manual engagement by the operator. Material removal gauge and extra-large thickness scale provide precise cuts with every pass.
